Biography
If you’re a math whiz who enjoys helping others, which career path should you choose? When Ethan asked himself this question as a high school senior, the answer came relatively easy: accounting.
After finishing college in 2012, Ethan set out to make it happen. He interned at a public accounting firm and secured a full-time position at the firm in 2013. During this time, his work ranged from tax and compilations to recording QuickBooks journal entries. In 2017, he joined JAK as a senior accountant on the audit side.
Ethan enjoys working alongside team members who share his desire to make clients’ lives as stress free as possible, even if it requires going the extra mile. According to Ethan, it’s all worth it when he sees relief wash over a client’s face. For this reason, he doesn’t shy away from tough projects—the more challenging, the better, he says.
Family is number one in Ethan’s book. He loves spending time with his wife and their son. He also likes to get outdoors, whether to golf, bike, hike, or fish.
