Biography
Growing up in Iowa as the son of a business owner, Luke had a firsthand look at the joys—and challenges—of entrepreneurship. Through it all, Luke saw how deeply his father valued his accountant. Luke hoped that one day he could support small business owners in the same way. In 2017, with a degree in accounting under his belt, he was on his way to doing just that.
After completing an internship in his home state, Luke relocated to the Twin Cities. There, he was drawn almost instantly to JAK, in part because of its just-right size. Luke knew a “not-too-big, not-too-small” firm would allow him to provide the best of both worlds for clients: personalized service backed by a high level of support. He joined JAK as a staff accountant in 2017.
Luke is the essential outdoorsman—he loves to fish, hike, and bike. Not surprisingly, he is also an Iowa football and basketball fan. He even played basketball as an undergrad.
