Accounting has always come naturally to Maria, who, even in high school, was captivated by how these concepts come to life in the real world. Today, as a manager at JAK, she brings her deep expertise in accounting and audit principles to every client interaction, helping business owners confidently navigate complex financial landscapes.

Maria thrives on teaching accounting concepts to her clients and takes immense pride in seeing them master even the most complicated topics. She has a talent for transforming complex accounting and tax matters into clear, actionable guidance, empowering business owners to make smart, informed decisions. And all with a positive, approachable attitude, even in the midst of the busiest tax seasons.

Originally from the Madison area, Maria now calls Minneapolis home, where she is enjoying an exciting and growing family life. This past year has been full of milestones. She and her husband recently tied the knot, rescued two lovable dogs, Harlow and Milo, and are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child in 2026. Her family shares a passion for travel, whether visiting relatives in the Madison and Chicago areas or exploring breathtaking destinations like Alaska, the Bahamas, and New Zealand.
