Biography
Gabriela’s job title may be “accountant,” but you could say she’s more of a sleuth. To help JAK’s clients maximize their tax savings, Gabriela digs into the details—leaving no stone unturned—to make sure opportunities aren’t missed.
But Gabriela didn’t study criminal justice in college: in fact, she started her college career as a pre-med student. It wasn’t until 2018 that she took her first accounting class and instantly fell in love with the challenges the subject offered.
Gabriela enjoys how accounting is, at times, like solving a puzzle. She thinks this quote from Albert Einstein sums it up well: “Raise new questions, explore new possibilities, regard old problems from a new angle.” Nothing, Gabriela says, is more satisfying than when the pieces fall into place.
Besides accounting, Gabriela is passionate about traveling, trying new foods, meeting new people, and living with no regrets. She is someone who lives life to the fullest, whether she’s longboarding to the beach to watch the sunset or dancing to different genres of Spanish music. If you challenge her in a game of pool, beware: she’s a shark!
