Biography
RuthAnn is a senior accountant who strives to make a difference for small businesses.
After earning a master’s degree in accounting in 1989, RuthAnn started her CPA career in auditing before spending 10 years in governmental accounting. She took a break to raise her four children and now advises small business owners out of our Rogers office.
RuthAnn is a people person: She thrives on meeting new people, making connections, and building relationships. She’s found great joy in being a part of the JAK + Co. team. RuthAnn originally chose a career in accounting because she wanted to make a positive impact on the lives of others—she’s grateful for the opportunity to do so in her role at JAK + Co.
When RuthAnn isn’t helping clients, she loves spending time with her husband and their son and three daughters. The family’s favorite activities include traveling (road trips!), hiking, cooking (they have a huge veggie garden!), and staying in for game nights.
RuthAnn and her kids regularly volunteer to pack food at Feed My Starving Children and serve lunches at Mary’s Place. Deeply touched by Alzheimer’s disease, the family also enjoys reading and doing activities with residents of local care facilities’ Alzheimer’s units.
